These PAID internships partner directly with public land agencies to give valuable experience and connection with the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management.  Positions completing at least 640 hours are eligible for the Public Land Corps Hiring Authority which gives merit status when apply to jobs within the USFS or BLM.  It usually take 2 years of year-round work with those agencies to achieve the same status.

BLM Vegetation and Soils Monitoring (Botany) – Craig, CO
BLM GIS – Meeker, CO
USFS Military Veteran Wildland Fire – Yampa, CO
USFS Trails and Backcountry Trails Crews – Leadville, Aspen, Dillon, Steamboat Springs, Yampa, CO and Douglas, Yampa, Saratoga, Laramie, WY
USFS Timber Prep and Improvement – Minturn and Dillon, CO
USFS Recreation Crews – Eagle and Dillon, CO
