Full-Time Environmental Analyst (WW and Onsite Systems)
The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking a highly organized candidate to serve as a project manager in the Wastewater and Onsite Systems Division working on State Revolving Fund (SRF), New York City watershed projects, National Tanks Conference and Exposition; L.U.S.T Line, and UST-LUST training. Will arrange for and chair or co-chair workgroup meetings. The incumbent will develop work plans, budgets, and contract/grant amendments and provide contract management. Will answer inquiries from state and federal agencies, consultants, and the general public about wastewater, water quality, technical publications, and NEIWPCC programs. Respond to policy issues relating to the Clean Water Act (State Revolving Fund and Needs Survey).
The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in environmental studies, public policy, natural science, public health, earth science, biology, engineering, or chemistry preferred. Must have knowledge of and experience with aspects of environmental policies and regulations as well as knowledge of the 2005 Energy Policy Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, and CERCLA. Candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Conference and event planning and management experience strongly preferred. Strong computer skills required.
