  • Support capacity building in and around the buildings sector, including through leading the project development and delivery of training for lenders, owners, community organizations, contractors, and other relevant key stakeholders.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to the development of forward-thinking solutions that accelerate demand for efficiency through high-performance building construction and operations, leasing, technologies, financing mechanisms, diverse suppliers, and workforce development strategies.
  • Synthesize and publicly present thought-leading ideas through public presentations, written resources, publishable articles, and/or blogs.
  • Work collaboratively with IMT’s Public Sector, Community Engagement, and Power Sector teams to identify and facilitate ways that local governments and utilities can partner with, incentivize, and motivate the private sector to decarbonize buildings.
  • Build relationships and facilitate public-private partnership opportunities with companies, nonprofits, and government agencies to develop energy-saving strategies through market- and policy-based mechanisms.
  • Other duties as assigned.
