Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. We need someone with 4+ years of hands-on accounting management and financial analysis experience. The day-to-day responsibilities of the position include:

• Assisting with the daily monitoring and maintenance of the general ledger.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Prepares monthly reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and schedules to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Develop and implement internal controls to improve efficiency
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis activities
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Maintains and updates procedure manuals as defined by management
• Works with outside accountants/auditors

Education and Experience:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or a combination of experience, education, and training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability
• Must have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in a corporate accounting or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of technical and principles of accounting.
• Proficiency in debits, credits, and general ledger account reconciliation
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
