  • Work closely with fellow Kayak Associates and youth kayak trip leaders to execute programs
  • Work and communicate with program partners and participants to ensure they are supported
  • Track visitor information, including demographic information and program participant numbers
  • Maintain kayak programming equipment
  • Offer directions and general information to the public
  • Support other Conservancy programming as directed

  • College student or recent college graduate, or comparable training and vocational education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing, curious, mature, positive, and a self-starter
  • Ability to perform outdoor physical labor (lift 40 lbs) in all weather conditions
  • Interest in executing hands-on, youth-facing events
  • Ability to work responsibly, quickly, independently, accurately, and consistently
  • Must be comfortable around water

Pay rate is $18/hour. This is a part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week, hourly position.
