Job Description

New Jersey Conservation Foundation is seeking a part time staff member to join our team in Northern and Central New Jersey.  Responsibilities include mowing and basic property maintenance, working with volunteers, maintaining hiking trails, and removing invasive plants.  The position involves significant in-state travel, and physically demanding work activities. Candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening hours, and use their personal vehicle for work.

We are seeking candidates who have a passion for conservation and a commitment to NJ Conservation’s mission.  Qualifications to be considered include: familiarity with New Jersey plants and animals and practical skills including light carpentry and use of power tools.  Relevant work experience is preferred.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $15 to $20/hour depending on skills and experience.
