Job Description

We’re excited to announce the National Pesticide Information Center (NPIC) is looking for a team member with Spanish fluency to start this April!

NPIC provides objective, science-based information about pesticides and pesticide-related topics to enable people to make informed decisions. Did you know disinfectants, bug repellents, and many pet flea treatments are pesticides? Not familiar with pesticides? Learn more!

As a Pesticide Specialist, you’ll dig into the science to answer technical questions for both the general public and professionals about pesticide risk and related topics. You’ll also develop scientific educational resources like fact sheets, videos, infographics or other publications. This is your opportunity to hone your skills as a science communicator!

Minimum requirements include a B.S. degree in toxicology, environmental chemistry, biotechnology, agricultural sciences, public health, or closely related scientific area, both written and verbal Spanish fluency, and other qualifications. See job posting for more details.

Salary range: $42,000 – $44,000
