WE ARE DEDICATED TO ORGANIC GARDENING! Mad Hatter Garden Designs is looking for passionate, experienced, full-time gardeners. Do the work you love and make a difference! We specialize in organic gardening, garden design, installation, and maintenance with a focus on plants for high-end residential clients. This is NOT a mow and blow crew. We are looking for hard-working individuals with a positive attitude who will treat coworkers and clients with respect and kindness.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience working on a landscaping crew and/or independent gardening in a professional capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of tree, shrub, perennial, annual plant identification, installation, maintenance and pruning. Be familiar with all types of pruning and confident working on a 10’ ladder.
• Understand Integrated Pest Management, pest and disease identification and organic treatment.
• Operate electric power shears, string trimmer & backpack blower. Be physically fit & easily lift 50 lbs.
• Have working knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
• Efficiently manage your time on site and at our shop.
• Have a professional, positive, team-building attitude, with a focus on excellent client service.
• Ability to use Google shared drive files, accurately track and record daily hours worked, billable inventory used, disposal of client debris, post daily client updates and review client profiles.
• Monitor and maintain trucks, tools, inventory and shop area.
• Have valid Oregon driver’s license and clean driving record. Fluent in spoken and written English, pass criminal history and driving record search. Pass plant identification and pruning tests.

Work Schedule winter hours:  Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.  Spring/Summer/Fall hours: Tuesday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 

Pay range $19 – $22/hour DOE.
