Internship Human Resources Intern
About the Position: The Human Resources (HR) Intern responsibilities will include assisting in district wide recruitment processes such as full-cycle recruitment support and recruitment metrics, performing research and analytical work to strengthen HR programs and projects, providing support with administration and reporting in our HRIS, and other related work as assigned. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enjoys working both collaboratively in teams and independently, demonstrates a strong attention to detail with excellent administrative and organizational skills, and has an enthusiastic “can-do” attitude with a passion for learning and growing in the HR field. This is a unique opportunity to be exposed to the various functions of HR while gaining professional public sector work experience and making an impact. The expected start date for this position is September 2022.

Benefits: This is a temporary position working 20 – 40 hours per week, which will extend up to a total of 950 hours over a 6-9 month period. This is a non-benefited position.
Basic Requirements: Internships are open to applications from current students or recent graduates (within the last 12 months). The HR intern will have the desire to gain first-hand knowledge of HR programs and processes within a mission driven public agency. Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California driver’s license.
Working Conditions: This position will work on-site and report to the HR department at Midpen offices in Los Altos, California.
