Status: (Full Time – Permanent) dependent upon completion of a 90-day probationary period. Overtime opportunities available!

Position Pay: $18.50-$21.00/hr

Facility Location: Hillsboro, Oregon

Site Locations: Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington (with some volunteer travel projects beyond this range)

Transportation: Provide own transportation to work sites, Hillsboro facilities or other planned locations.

Summary: Work to restore ecosystems using standard habitat restoration techniques while maintaining the highest level of safety, quality, and output.

Primary Duties:

· Work as a team to actively restore the ecological function of habitats across the Pacific Northwest.

· Use a variety of power tools, hand tools, small machinery, and herbicide application to remove invasive species.

· Install trees and shrubs as bare-roots, cuttings, poles, containers, plugs, and bulbs.

· Operate and maintain company vehicles, trailers, power equipment, and other tools.

Experience/Qualifications (Required):

· Ability to learn new tasks, skills and systems

· Ability to work and communicate professionally with teammates, clients and the public

· Ability to work outdoors across uneven terrain during inclement weather for eight to ten hours of productive manual labor

· Ability to safely lift 60 lbs.

· Valid driver’s license

Additional Helpful Experience (Not Required):

● Outdoor Manual Labor (Preferred)

● College or University (Biology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, etc.)

Schedule:

● 8 to 10 hour shift

● Monday to Friday
