Job Description

The Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization with the support of its Board of Directors. Primary responsibilities include organizational leadership and execution of JHWF’s three core programs; Wildlife-Friendlier Fencing, Nature Mapping Jackson Hole and Give Wildlife a Brake. Additional responsibilities include fundraising, Board of Directors relations, overseeing staff and volunteers, budget management, communications, and community outreach. The successful candidate will be a team player that possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including grant writing and the ability to provide clear direction to staff and receive direction from the board. The candidate will also have proven the ability to develop constructive and effective relationships with outside partners, volunteers, staff, donors and boards. A bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and at least five years of non-profit experience (three years of leadership experience preferred) is required.
