Madison Energy Infrastructure (“Madison” or “MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset owner, and operator of distributed generation. This role represents a critical next step in MEI’s evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike and building out development pipelines to finance renewable energy projects with our development partners.

The Estimation Manager role at MEI oversees dynamic distributed renewable energy projects within one of the United States’ fastest-growing energy industries. This role will leverage expertise in managing the estimation of renewable energy projects across their development, design, and construction phases. These projects vary in size and complexity, encompassing everything from smaller rooftops to expansive ground-mounted systems spanning the nation. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Development and Early Stage: Analyze project documents, schedule, takeoff, cost estimation, RFI, proposal writing, and conduct pre-contract site/scope walks when necessary.
• Bidding Process Management: Oversee the bidding process for projects, including soliciting, receiving, analyzing, and finalizing bids.
• Estimating: Prepare or assist with preparing scopes of work for conceptual estimates, hard bids, and major change order pricing.
• Subcontractor Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors to support business bidding and development.
• Document Comprehension: Fully understand project documents, specifications, general conditions, and schedule constraints impacting bids.
• Database Maintenance: Maintain a computerized construction database for costs and vendors.
• Market Knowledge: Stay updated on construction materials, pricing, trends, and continuously learn construction systems, procedures, and code changes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Renewables energy or electrical – industrial and commercial estimating required; site/civil experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Electrical or Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows applications: word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and project plans to derive accurate estimations, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Familiarity with project estimation management tools and software, coupled with strong analytical skills for efficient data analysis and interpretation.

Salary: $110K – $150K

Actual salary offered may vary depending on job-related factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Location: Moorestown, NJ (hybrid – 4 days onsite)
