We visit buildings in all phases of construction to ensure the homes are efficient and healthy by performing tests and inspections throughout construction.

EnergyLogic is a Colorado-based building consulting company that provides building science expertise and code inspections for the construction of high-performance homes, up and down the Front Range.

Ideal Candidates:

• Passion for the environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work on construction sites in all weather (and spend a fair amount of time driving)
• Work independently once trained; they are team players who are dependable and conscientious
• Have an eye for detail
• Construction experience or knowledge desired, but not required

Energy Rater Assistants are considered “Energy Rater Candidates”— with the right fit, we quickly put you on a training path to becoming a certified Rating Field Inspector (RFI) at $20 per hour. The training continues with the goal of the Logician becoming a certified HERS Energy Rater, which is a salaried, non-exempt (qualifies for overtime) position.

Our headquarters is in Berthoud, CO, but we also have offices in Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. Rater Assistants may have use of EnergyLogic cars, depending on eligibility and availability, or are reimbursed for mileage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
