Organization: Bedford 2030 is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to tackling the urgent challenge of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and conserving natural resources. Since our inception in 2010, we’ve been actively involving and motivating community members in Bedford and beyond to join the fight against climate change. Our ambitious objective is to reduce community-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2030 while preserving our natural resources.

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic communicator to collaborate with our team in driving objectives and key initiatives forward through effective communication and outreach strategies. This role will be reporting to the Executive Director, collaborating with Program Directors and the Development Manager, while also overseeing the work of the Program Administrator.

Salary range: $65,000 +/- (DOE)

Benefits: Medical insurance, generous paid time off, paid holidays, sick time

Schedule: 4-day work week; this role requires some night and/or weekend work as necessary

Location: Some in person office hours are required. Work-from-home is encouraged. Bedford 2030 office is located in St. Luke’s Parish house (68 Bedford Road) in Katonah, in the Town of Bedford, NY.
