Who are we looking for?
Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Business for Water Stewardship Team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment and has the ability to provide high-impact work, skills and project management to our organization, partners, and mission.

BEF’s Business for Water Stewardship Team helps businesses work collaboratively with community and policy stakeholders to advance solutions that ensure people, economies, and ecosystems have enough clean water to flourish. We invite tribal nations, agriculture, food, beverage or technology companies, community organizations, environmental advocates, and policymakers to join us to transform how we collectively value, use, and manage water today.

The Program Coordinator’s core responsibilities include: preparing contracts and ensuring the review process workflow with partners, reviewing partnership communications, preparing internal and external presentations, maintaining database alignment between two or more platforms, processing invoices and purchase orders, maintaining reporting files from partners, developing documents for external grant reporting, and supporting metrics tracking to ensure program success.

Primary Duties:

Program Coordination:

  • Contract drafting and workflow coordination – taking the lead on multiple contract workflows that require feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparing documents – provide first draft of documents such as project descriptions, project solicitations (Requests for Proposals/Requests for Information), reports summaries with partners.
  • Reporting support – requesting annual reports from partners, providing quality assurance, and coordinating  workflows to deliver reports to clients.
  • Information management – maintaining internal database systems for tracking projects.
  • Website revisions and blog posts – ability to learn functionality of WordPress and other website development tools.
  • Partner meeting planning support – coordinating online and in-person events (several times a year).
  • Presentation development – gathering data from multiple sources to draft complex information in an accessible way for internal and external uses.
  • Support BWS team and consultants with data needs, answer questions, coordinate review of documents.

Education and/or Experience Requirement:

  • A  U.S bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree or 4 years of equivalent professional experience.

Job specific skills requirements: 

  • Experience with Adobe, Google and Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / data solutions platforms such as Oracle NetSuite.
  • Entry level experience with programming languages such as HTML, Java Script
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience researching, documenting, organizing, and presenting complex information to team members.
  • Passion for learning about watersheds, innovative water management approaches, institutions, policies, and eco-cultural practices.
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate with a diverse set of partners including those with different educational, ethnic, political, gender, and cultural backgrounds and experiences.
  • Thrives in a fast paced, creative, and rapidly evolving field.
  • Ability to work in a virtual workplace on the Pacific Coast Time Zone – working autonomously but staying connected with the team.
  • Willing to work in a culture of continual growth with a focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
  • Resides in the United States, preferably within Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Washington (State)

  • Salary Range: $54,000-$59,000 per year DOE.
