Job Description

Environmental consulting firm has an opening for a biologist/ecologist with a minimum of 2 years of field experience and a B.S. in biology, ecology or environmental sciences.  Must be experienced in wetland delineation, wildlife surveys, vegetation mapping and Florida plant identification, as well as technical report writing. Additional desired experience includes macroinvertebrate identification; gopher tortoise surveys, permitting and relocations; seagrass identification and surveys; local, state and federal permitting; proficiency in AutoCAD and GPS experience. Please be aware that this job entails working outside, often all day, in the heat and humidity of south and central Florida.
