Full-Time Territory Sales Manager

Job Description

This position presents a unique opportunity for the right individual to grow with a market leader and advance as experts in the solar industry. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for understanding and developing the region to maximize and grow revenue by selling Quick Mount PV product solutions to the existing distribution channel and solar installers, as well as acquiring new business. Position reports directly to the Director, Distribution Sales.

Quick Mount PV is the nation’s leading manufacturer of solar panel roof mounts. The company is dedicated to sustainable business practices, training and education, and quality manufacturing in the USA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes productive, professional relationships with decision makers and influencers within channel(s)
Proactively recruits new qualified customers
Develops and expands relationships horizontally and vertically within each organization in assigned territory
Coordinates the involvement of other company personnel, including: technical support, inside sales, marketing, and management, in order to meet partner revenue expectations
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned accounts
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis and provides constructive feedback to management
Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management as appropriate
Works closely with the inside sales team to ensure the highest-level problem resolution and customer satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree required
Minimum three years of outside sales experience in a business- to-business sales environment with focus on both long cycle sales and short win business
Experience in engineering or technology solution selling, construction-project finance or solar manufacturing required
Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
This position requires extensive travel (50% or more) including overnight stays within the territory
