Job Description

Work and live on beautiful Nantucket!  We are a small family owned farm looking to fill 2 positions for this season.  The first is  a greenhouse grower/sales associate.  Tasks involved include seeding, transplanting, watering and greenhouse maintenance, setting up plant sale displays, container design and most importantly customer sales and service.  Applicant should have experience working in greenhouses/nurseries and have a working knowledge of annuals and perennials grown in the northeast.  The second is vegetable grower.  Tasks would include seeding and starting veggies such as lettuce, greens, squash, tomatoes and peppers, preparing high tunnels and growing beds, maintenance of fields and supervision of harvesting.  Applicant should have solid vegetable growing experience.  Both jobs start April 1 and include free housing and all the vegetables you can eat.  Pay is commensurate with experience.
