Tranlin (owner of VASTLY products) seeks junior and mid-level environmental engineers fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English to assist with developing and constructing the company’s first US manufacturing plant near Richmond, Virginia.  Engineers will have exceptional opportunities to develop and advance their skills in designing constructing an advanced manufacturing facility and supporting elements in one of the largest construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic.

This role will assist with plant design and engineering processes, focusing particularly on wastewater and stormwater management and air permitting. Engineers will be involved with the RFP and selection processes for design and engineering firms, as well as in reviewing work and providing the Company’s guidance for decisions where needed.  Additionally, as liaison between US project teams, contractors and the company’s Chinese engineering experts, engineering staff will ensure effective technology transfer and best-practice implementation of design elements, materials selection and construction methodologies for Tranlin’s unique manufacturing processes in the US.

Positions require full-time residence in the vicinity of Chesterfield County, Virginia and temporary work location in South Carolina.
